About our product
A specialized platform for the fine arts industry where art buyers can register and gain access to fine artwork and artists, thereby creating opportunities for such artists to potentially earn a steady income. Artists will create their profiles and provide their education, certifications, and any other relevant information along with existing work to be approved on the platform.
For Artists:
On the platform, artists will create a profile of themselves with details about their domain (i.e. abstract, realism, pop art, oil), any specialties, their education, previous art work, experience and projects they have worked on. There will also be a rating and review section where previous buyers can leave feedback and comments. When selling artwork, artists can post their artwork on the platform for anyone to view and purchase via the platform’s ecommerce gateway system. Interns will have the same profile features, however their badge as an ‘intern’ signals to buyers that they are inexperienced compared to more mature or developed artists and are seeking to develop their portfolio by working on projects for a company. They would also be more recent graduates from college or university. Buyers operating on a budget may be interested in interns as their artwork may be more cost-effective compared to the asking price of more experienced artists.
Artists can search and browse projects and job requests posted by companies to identify artwork in demand and assess whether their skillset can meet that need. Details regarding the requirements of the artwork will be specified by the company (buyer)_ along with the price range they are willing to pay. Artists will have the option to apply to be chosen to do the job by submitting a proposal. The job posting company (buyer) can review their profile and gauge their art style and skill level, schedule and conduct interviews to iron out details and carry out negotiations. The platform will have a scheduling feature that will display the availability of artists and buyers, and it will host these meetings.
For Companies:
Companies will create a company profile for artists to view so they can learn about their potential clients and make an informed decision if they decide to apply (submit a proposal) for an artwork project or accept a company as a buyer client. Companies will also be able to solicit and reach out to artists they are interested in buying from or hiring. Companies can also post job placements if they want to offer an internship for an in-house artist. Companies will be expected to follow federal laws regarding hiring interns in terms of wages, safety, training and supervision and related guidelines. There will also be a rating and review section for artists and interns to leave feedback about their experience working for the company.
